Browsing as an Evaluative Behavior
Paper
A final paper for the doctoral seminar Information Seeking Behavior. The paper proposed that browsing is one of a set of human behaviors that are used to evaluate situations. This paper served as a springboard for a later article (presently unpublished) by Marcia Bates, called "Browsing as Sampling and Selecting."
Analytical Intellectual Biography of W. Boyd Rayward
Paper
A final paper for the course Historical Methods in Library and Information Studies. This project involved an interview with historian Rayward and analysis of all his writings on Documentation and Paul Otlet.
